Born June 5th, 1976, Patrick was raised on Vashon Island, an island near Seattle, Washington. At the age of eighteen, Patrick attended Western Washington University, graduating with a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology. Patrick started playing guitar at that time and like most musicians, he was truly inspired. Most of Pat’s friends that he grew up with on Vashon had been playing instruments and making music since the time he left Vashon and went to college. When he returned home to Vashon Island for visits, he would sit and listen. Realizing that he wanted to play music, one thing led to another, and he started playing. He hasn’t stopped since.

Patrick’s influences are early Bob Dylan, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Trolls Cottage, Paul Gulledge, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Son House, Pharcyde, Outkast, De La Soul, Ben Harper, Desmond Dekker, John Lennon and Gillian Welch.
